#CORACares Climate Action Fund
A Climate Emergency
The Philippines is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world to climate change. Impacted by an average of 20 typhoons each year, the onslaught of these disasters has unjustly claimed thousands of lives, homes and livelihood year after year, as each decade worsens in intensity and frequency.
Through CORA’s network of emergency response partners, we are able to reach some of the most heavily impacted communities that are in urgent need of support. From the most basic of needs, to mangrove seedlings for long-term protection, to providing solar power for off-the-grid and island communities, CORA’s programs place the plight of people and the planet at the core of every mission.
A little goes a long way, and we are grateful for any support provided. Click the DONATE button to get started:

What else can we do?
1
Advocate for nature-based solutions.
Techniques such as river re-meandering, reforestation, terracing, and the restoration of mangrove ecosystems can mitigate the impacts of these disasters.
2
Individual actions have big impact.
By committing to a sustainable lifestyle—such as adopting zero-waste practices, reducing single-use plastics, and embracing renewable energy—each person can significantly contribute to reducing emissions.
3
The right leaders make all the difference.
Leaders focusing on long-term climate action, urban planning, and flood management can drive transformative change. Supporting sustainable development, disaster risk reduction, and environmental protection leads to a resilient and climate-adaptive future.
