The Eco-Ikot Sustainable Cities Program, led by CORA in partnership with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and Our Sea of East Asia Network (OSEAN), aims to tackle environmental challenges by implementing innovative waste management solutions in collaboration with local communities through the Eco-Ikot Center.
The program advocates for a "Circular Center" model that emphasizes the principles of the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, and recycle) and circular economy practices in solid waste management (SWM). With invaluable support and funding from KOICA, two new circular centers will rise in the cities of Parañaque and Manila boosting existing efforts to promote sustainable waste management and climate action in the Philippines.
