We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated Finance, Administration, and HR Officer to join our team. The selected candidate shall be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial, administrative, and human resource functions of the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall success of our mission. 

 

Responsibilities

 

1. Financial Management

  • Develop and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets, financial reports, and forecasts. 

  • Implement and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. 

  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. 

  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to the leadership team for strategic decision-making. 

  • Collaborate with auditors, prepare for annual audits, and ensure timely submission of financial reports. 

 

2. Administration

  • Oversee general administrative functions, including office management, procurement, and facilities. 

  • Manage and support administrative staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. 

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to non-profit administration. 

  • Streamline and optimize administrative processes to enhance organizational efficiency. 

 

3. HR Support

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.

  • Define clear procedures for candidate evaluation, selection, and onboarding.

  • Establish mechanisms for open communication and conflict resolution.

  • Foster a positive work culture that aligns with the organization's values.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed.

  • Administer employee benefits and communicate relevant information.

  • Define and promote the desired organizational culture.

  • Implement initiatives to enhance teamwork, morale, and employee engagement.

  • Establish and maintain accurate HR records.

  • Develop and manage the HR budget efficiently.

  • Ensure optimal utilization of HR resources.

  • Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and ensure compliance.

 

4. Reporting and Communication: 

  • Prepare regular financial and administrative reports for the executive team and board of directors. 

  • Provide clear and concise communication on financial matters to non-finance staff. 

  • Collaborate with program managers and other departments to ensure financial and administrative support for various projects. 

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, human resources management, behavioral science, psychology or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus. 

  • Proven experience 5 in financial management, budgeting, accounting and human resources within a non-profit environment. 

  • Familiarity with non-profit accounting principles and compliance requirements, HR systems and database. 

 

Skills

  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. 

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. 

  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Position Type: Part Time / Commission basis

We are seeking a talented and motivated Fund and Grant Specialist to join our team who will be responsible for identifying, applying for, and managing grants from governmental bodies, foundations, and other grant-giving organizations. The Fund and Grant Specialist  will work closely with program managers and finance and admin teams to ensure that grant opportunities are maximized, and that applications are developed, submitted and managed effectively and professionally, ensuring that application and reporting obligations are met. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Identifying, applying for, and managing grants from governmental bodies, foundations, and other grant-making organizations.

  • Possess a deep understanding of the grant application process, including proposal writing, budgeting, and compliance with grant requirements.

  • Researching statistics, trends and data for grant proposals and community advocacy.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience with nonprofit administration, grant writing, or fundraising.

  • Demonstrated analytical and persuasive writing skills experience as well as superior editing skills, including ability to convey complex information in a clear manner to a diverse audience.
